Check Up On It

Mother Bey graces the cover of MARIE CLAIRE June 2009 issue! Mounting a 110-city tour in the course of a year, I am not mad at this woman! Plus, her Media (PR, Advertising) team are simply on top of game cause her BRAND is everywhere! 2 points for Beyonce & Company!

Long live the KING!

The last official publication of KING Magazine hit stores earlier last week (that's right, KING has officially closed their doors) with a dual cover adorning my baby momma (KeyCo) on one and Joe Budden's baby momma, T on the other (she gotta donk)! Go cop that last issue while supplies last!

Got MLK?

I just got "LIFE" literally!! LIFE Magazine presents never before published pictures of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

From LIFE: On April 4, 1968, LIFE photographer Henry Groskinsky and writer Mike Silva, on assignment in Alabama, learned that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., had been shot at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. They raced to the scene and there, incredibly, had unfettered access to the hotel grounds, Dr. King's room, and the surrounding area. For reasons that have been lost in the intervening years, the photographs taken that night and the next day were never published. Until now.

Sidebar: Is it just me or does it seem like MLK is getting a grip of attention lately. It's like they can't let our President Barack Obama get his own shine. You rarely see a picture without their two images. I mean don't get me wrong I'm proud of what Dr. King did for us as black people and this nation; and if it wasn't for him Obama will not be able to be where he is today, but d*mn can the man get some of his own lime light?? I'm just saying!!

Young Mula Baaaayyybee!

In April's issue of Rolling Stone Magazine, Wayne discusses his switch from Rap to Rock and why he grew tired of rapping! Go pick up an issue to read the entire story!

The SKINNY: I don't see it for Wayne and Rock! Sorry, but I feel like you have to be high or on some other sh*t to actually enjoy his two singles off the new album, "Prom Queen" and "Hot Revolver!" To me, he has crossed the line and is almost border line Grunge! I'm not really using Weezy this quarter musically; I mean I felt like he could have won me over big with an Adam Levine meets Maroon 5 and cheats with Good Charlotte type of feel! But this music is a lil harsh for my "Mrs. Officer" ears! Thanks Wayne but I'll pass! Just cause Kanye is giving you a switch up of music genre, now err'body wanna jump on board! Maybe he should just release all this energy and get another tattoo if he has any available skin left!
